Our Story, Our Mission
Para Nuestra Gente was born out of lived experience and a deep desire to give back. Our founder, Ivan, grew up in an environment where the odds were stacked against him. But everything changed when he was offered a scholarship and mentorship that opened the door to college. That opportunity didn’t just change his circumstances — it transformed his entire path. Today, Para Nuestra Gente exists to support students from low-income and high-risk communities by offering the same kind of mentorship, academic guidance, and scholarship support that changed Ivan’s life.

Academic Guidance
We understand that navigating the academic world can be challenging. Our academic guidance service provides students with the support they need to succeed in their studies. We help students understand their curriculum, develop effective study habits, and prepare for exams. Our goal is to help students not only succeed acadically, but also to develop the skills they need to become lifelong learners.
Mentorship
We believe in the power of mentorship. Our mentors are individuals who have walked the path our students are now walking and can provide guidance based on their own experiences. They are there to inspire, motivate, and support students as they navigate their academic journey. Through regular meetings, our mentors provide advice, share their experiences, and provide a listening ear.Scholarship Support
